Alongside these excellent KS2 scores, CST schools are also celebrating excellent Progress 8 scores in summer 2024. BCCS and Trinity Academy were amongst the highest achieving schools in the city for Progress 8 results, a particular achievement for Trinity Academy as it was their first set of GCSE results and they achieved an amazing Progress 8 score of 0.53.
Progress 8 tells you about the progress that pupils in a school make from the end of primary school to the end of year 11. It is a type of value-added measure, which means that pupils’ results are compared to other pupils nationally with similar starting points.
