We are delighted to let you know that CST’s annual concert ‘Starbound’ will take place this year on Tuesday 11th March 2025 starting at 6.30pm at Bristol Beacon. 

The concert will showcase the breadth of our music provision, featuring over 400 young people from our Primary and Secondary Schools. Our Symphony Orchestra and Big Band will accompany massed singing items such as The Toreador Song and It’s Alright from the film Soul. There will be a performance of Laura Shigihara’s Grasswalk from Plants vs. Zombies by the junior orchestra (CST Camerata) and a joyous percussion item sure to get the audience in on the act too! This concert will feature many students from across many backgrounds: some are highly skilled and accomplished musicians and others are just at the beginning of their musical journey. The varied programme includes repertoire from a broad range of styles and aims to champion under-represented musicians and composers. We are thrilled to be working closely with our partners at The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire to stage this ambitious and inspirational event.
